Nice Easy to Use Kit

Wrapped a rod for a friend using this kit. Makes a nice general purpose medium spinning rod. Friend prefers a one-piece butt handle, so filled the gap with cork rings and sanded to match. Only issue is the very tight clearance between the blank and the reel seat. You need to bore out the arbor, epoxy to the blank, then shave it down to match the reel seat. The reel seat is very short and the Lew's Speed Spin 300 barely fits.
