Veevus Monofilament, available in two sizes and colors, is excellent for a wide range of fresh and saltwater flies. Exceptionally strong, with a bit of stretch, it allows great control of thread compression. The 0.2 mm (0.008") is nearly unbreakable, and bonds well with CA+ superglues, for mono extensions and weed guards. Terrific for bass, pike,, muskie, and large saltwater flies. The clear mono allows your underlying colors to come through, while the black also can be used for segmentation, ribbing, and heads. We recommend the smaller 0.1 mm (0.004") size for smaller salt, and freshwater, flies. 100 m (110 yds) on standard bobbin size.
